Bo Howard

Principal

Bo co-founded Carrollton Mineral Partners in 2009 and has over 40 years of experience in the energy industry. He founded Carrollton Resources in 1984, which drilled and operated onshore and offshore wells in Louisiana until its merger with Pure Resources in 1998. He was CEO of Summit Energy and guided the company through the successful sale of its Gulf of Mexico assets in 2008. Prior to moving to Dallas, Bo was a director on the boards of the Louisiana Independent Oil and Gas Association, the Baton Rouge Rotary Club, and various other industry and community organizations. Bo earned his BS from Louisiana State University with a concentration in business and engineering.

Pat Bolin

Principal

Pat co-founded Carrollton Mineral Partners in 2009 and has over 40 years of experience leading oil and gas operating companies. He started his career as a landman with Mitchell Energy Co. in 1973 before leaving to co-found Eagle Oil & Gas Co. in 1976. Since 2005, Eagle has generated, developed, and sold multiple Permian Basin prospects totaling over 200,000 acres. Eagle remains active and currently owns assets in 12 states. Pat is a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and the Dallas Wildcat Committee, where he has served as chairman. He serves on the board of directors for several other organizations, including the executive board of the SMU Cox School of Business. Pat holds a BA from Southern Methodist University.

Martin Howard

Operations

Martin joined Carrollton in May 2010 as a financial analyst and now oversees all aspects of daily operations. With over a decade of finance and operational experience specific to royalties and minerals, Martin is familiar with all aspects of evaluating and managing oil and gas assets. Martin assists with financial modeling, acquisition underwriting, asset performance evaluation, and investor relations. Martin has a BBA in Marketing and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Southern Methodist University.

Jake-Stumpf-(1)

Jake Stumpf

Land

Jake joined Carrollton in 2023 and oversees all aspects of land administration. He is responsible for determining ownership, verifying division orders, negotiating leases, and coordinating with operators. Prior to joining Carrollton, Jake started his career in 2018 at Concho Resources (now ConocoPhillips) in Midland, Texas, where he held various Business Development and Operational Landman positions. Jake is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and is on the Board of Directors for the Permian Basin Landmen’s Association. Jake received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa with degrees in Energy Management and Finance.


Warren Ayres

Senior Advisor

Warren has been an active participant in Carrollton Mineral Partners since 2010. He began his career in 1971 with the Bolin Oil Company as an accountant, a position he left in 1976 to co-found Eagle Oil and Gas Company. Currently, Warren serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Eagle.  Warren is an active member of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, a former chairman of the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce, and is active in numerous other community organizations. Warren received his BBA degree from Midwestern State University.

Charlie Johns

Business Development

Charlie joined Carrollton in March 2018 and oversees our business development efforts. He has over 12 years of industry experience, primarily focused on minerals and non-operated working interests in the Permian Basin. Charlie began his career at Drillinginfo where he developed a vast network of relationships across the oil & gas industry. More recently, he served as Vice President of Business Development at Accelerate Resources and aided in business development and mineral acquisition efforts for Carrollton. Charlie received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.


Will-Archer

Will Archer

Technology

Will joined Carrollton in 2016, where he leads our technology and data analytics efforts. Will has a decade of experience in the Petroleum industry with a primary focus in geographic information systems, database management, and custom software development. His comprehension of relational data from a multitude of sources, combined with his ability to visualize this data, helps Carrollton target asset metrics and key performance indicators. Will holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
